Second Newscast
This newscast I believe was better than the first one. I believe this newscast was actually good, everyone did what we were supposed to. One thing I have to do is turnoff the walkie talkie or I could bring in ear phones to use to talk to the director. But once again everyone likes to se Matt do the weather. The anchors did good with their stories and reading. There were only a few mistakes with words misread. Other than that they looks up at the camera when speaking which was good. This newscast showed we had improved from the first.
Black And White Film
"To Kill a Mockingbird" is a black and white film that enjoyed watching. This film is an overall old film that I enjoyed, I usually onto enjoy black and white films that are old but I did enjoy this one. This film takes place in the South in Alabama and it is in the depression era. I do not like the fact that everyone is going against a black guy, but a few. This film is one of hard-hitting drama. It was also during the civil rights movement in America. this film is special because of Gregory Peck's portrayal of Atticus Finch, a true hero. Atticus put his career on the line when he agrees to represent Tom Robinson, who was a black man accused of rape on a white girl. Robinsons case and trial was what gave the film its suspend and momentum. The cinematography of this film is black and white which supports the film because of the time it was being made. Peck plays a hero who’s such a perfect human being he’d be a little hard to believe if not for Peck’s forthright, understated performance. He’s intelligent and modest, a softspoken man of unquestionable integrity devoted to the cause of justice. The original person they chose was Rock Hudson which he wasn't the best fit.
